within the framework of the project THE STATE OF AFFAIRS?

At the end of the event project THE STATE OF AFFAIRS? we organize a day trip with the destinations Emsdettener Venn and Steinfurt. The nature reserve Emsdettener Venn has a size of 340, first raised bog areas were already put under protection in 1941. Due to its supra-regional importance for the protection of raised bogs and their endangered flora and fauna, the Emsdetten Fens is now part of the European Natural Heritage. Together with a natural landscape guide from the Biological Station Kreis Steinfurt e.V., participants discover one of the oldest nature reserves in the Steinfurt district.
Another item on the program of the excursion will be a guided garden tour together with the director of the Kreislehrgarten Steinfurt, Klaus Krohme. The district teaching garden is a demonstration and school garden and a unique facility in the Münsterland region. This day excursion will end with a guided walk through the "exotic" park "Bagno".

Participation fee per person € 69
Register by June 28 via anmeldung@draiflessen.com or +49 (0)5452.9168-3500.

***Note: This day excursion requires some physical fitness as we will be doing a lot of walking and standing and there will be little opportunity to sit.
