In the Kintsugi workshop, you will learn the Japanese art of repairing broken objects with gold-colored lacquer—a symbol of appreciation and new beginnings. Using a sustainable cashew-based adhesive, you will create your own work of art and take both your set and your repaired piece home with you.

In medieval manuscripts and murals, depictions of the devil were deliberately scratched out, painted over, or cut up—a surprising interplay of visibility and invisibility. In her lecture, Jasmin Mersmann shows how the devil is not only erased, but becomes an iconoclast himself.
