Why do we collect objects and documents relating to the Brenninkmeijer family and their business activities? These offer detailed insights into the history of the C&A company from its foundation in 1841 in Sneek in the Netherlands to the recent past. The collection will continue to expand in future with the ongoing documentation of further areas of business activity, which since 2001 have been coordinated by COFRA AG and which likewise form part of our entrepreneurial heritage.
