As its name makes clear, the Draiflessen Collection houses its own distinguished collection of art. Its wide-ranging holdings include the Liberna Collection, focusing on books, drawings and prints from the 15th to the 17th century, and the Ariadne’s Naaikussen Foundation, comprising historical needlework and sewing tools from the 18th and 19th century.
The continuously expanding collection likewise includes select works of fine and applied art, objects that we have specifically purchased to complement our existing holdings, that have been donated to us, or that have been created as commissioned works in collaboration with artists. These works cover a timespan from the late Middle Ages to the present.
