meetMUSIC is delighted to welcome Sky du Mont and Mirror Strings to the Christmas-adapted programme "Im Spiegel" - contemporary music meets contemporary literature. Together, the five artists present the diversity of the 21st century. Sky du Mont reads amusing texts in his inimitable way, virtuosically played around by guitars and cellos with classical chamber music enriched with pop, rock and minimal elements. True to the programme title "In the Mirror", musical emotions are reflected in prose and soulful words seem to echo in sounds. A perfect programme for the whole family to kick off the Christmas season.

The unique ensemble Mirror Strings combines two guitars with two cellos - an extraordinary formation. As different as cellos and guitars sound, they communicate and harmonise perfectly in this quartet. Composers from all over the world compose especially for the quartet and bring in their own culture, background and personality. Concerts of the Mirror Strings touch directly and personally, jumping from great looseness to deep emotionality.
