Excursion to WDR’s regional studio in Münster and to the PABLO PICASSO art museum *** fully booked
as part of the exhibition LANGUAGE/TEXT/IMAGE
In conjunction with the LANGUAGE/TEXT/IMAGE exhibition, the Draiflessen Collection is offering a day trip to Münster to visit WDR and the Picasso Museum. The visit to the WDR and the exhibition at the PABLO PICASSO art museum offers and provides in-depth insights into the different effects of language, text, image and sound in various media forms.
We will start with a guided tour through our current special exhibition, after which we will travel by coach to Münster. Our first stop will be the WDR regional studio, where a guided tour will give us a glimpse behind the scenes of the studio. The interesting differences between purely auditory media such as radio or podcasts and audiovisual media such as television will be explained.
The exhibition Mona Lisa zum Anbeißen – Art and Advertising at the PABLO PICASSO Art Museum is our second stop. Picasso's works in advertising, along with other examples, are excellent examples of how art is commercialized and made accessible to a broader audience while maintaining its artistic value and emotional impact.
9:30 a.m. start at Draiflessen, return to Draiflessen approx. 7:30 p.m.
Participation fee per person € 65. The number of participants is limited to 20 people.
