Art in the Evening: Curator's tour and lecture by Commissioner René Allonge
in the exhibition BENEATH THE SURFACE
Spectacular museum burglaries such as the theft of the 100-kilogram gold coin “Big Maple Leaf” from the Bode Museum in Berlin or the art forgery scandal surrounding Wolfgang Beltracchi provide the material for good crime stories. Inspector René Allonge, chief investigator for art crime at the Berlin State Office of Criminal Investigation, was involved in solving both cases. On this evening at the Draiflessen Collection, he will talk about his everyday life as an investigator, the modern methods of art criminology and the exciting cases he has investigated himself.
The participation fee is € 9 per person.
