Excursion to Detmold to the Museum of Russian-German Cultural History and the Detmold Museum Village
as part of the exhibitions ROOTED AND BRANCHED and A GARDEN OF FLOWERS

We are offering a one-day excursion to Detmold to the Museum of Russian-German Cultural History and the Detmold Museum Village: In the Draiflessen Collection, the exhibition ROOTED AND BRANCHED. Artistic positions visualize the diverse interconnections in our world and invite us to reflect and marvel.
The exhibition A GARDEN OF FLOWERS presents works by Milanese artist Lilla Tabasso. The curators Iris Ellers and Olesja Nein provide special insights during a short guided tour and build a bridge to the other destinations on the excursion.
In the Museum of Russian-German Cultural History in Detmold, the participants will then be given an in-depth insight into the unusual and unknown history and culture of the Russian-Germans during an exciting guided tour. A typical Russian dish will be served during lunch in the museum.
The Detmold Museum Village, one of the largest open-air museums in Europe, shows rural life in Westphalia. A tour on the theme of “rural garden splendor” leads through the many, very different gardens of the complex.
We look forward to an inspiring and educational excursion!

The participation fee is € 110 per person (lunch included).
The number of participants is limited to 20 people.
Registration by June 3, 2025 by e-mail at anmeldung@draiflessen.com or by telephone on +49 (0)5452.9168-3500.
