meetMUSIC: The Twiolins – children's concert
This story for children aged 4 to 9 is about friendship, courage, and the magic of music.
The squirrel and the hedgehog, inseparable friends and enthusiastic music lovers, practice diligently with their violins—but how do you organize a concert? Together, they embark on an adventurous search for answers.
The story follows the two friends as they strive to move from practicing at home to performing on stage. Despite some difficulties, they succeed—thanks to the support of many friends and a dose of lightheartedness—in creating something very special that goes far beyond an ordinary concert.
Participating is twice as much fun: in the Twiolins' program, young listeners experience interactive elements and beautiful violin sounds, inspired by the children's book “Hurra, wir spielen ein Konzert” (Hurray, we're playing a concert) by Marie-Luise Dingler. This project is funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media as part of NEUSTART KULTUR.
Marie-Luise Dingler, a trained solo violinist at the Mannheim University of Music, founded the duo The Twiolins with her brother Christoph. Since 2025, she has been thrilling audiences worldwide in a duo with Marta Danilkovich – and encouraging children to get active themselves.
Tickets for this children's concert from the meetMUSIC series are available here.
Admission from 3.30 p.m.
