meetMUSIC: Peppino D’Agostino

Peppino D'Agostino has been one of the world's most important acoustic guitarists for four decades. Originally from Sicily and now living in the USA, the musician combines classical guitar, rock, and modern sound experiments in his energetic, virtuoso, and at the same time intimate live performances.

Winner of the “Open Strings” fingerstyle competition (2007) and the “European Guitar Award” (2009), he has been shaping the international fingerstyle scene since the 1980s and inspiring guitarists worldwide. His “minestrone music” combines technical brilliance with great emotional depth.

With over 30 tours, appearances at renowned festivals, and joint projects with artists such as Tommy Emmanuel and Leo Kottke, he is one of the guitar world's audience favorites. He is also in demand internationally as a teacher.

Tickets for the concert from the meetMUSIC series are available here.
