Art Afternoon in the Draiflessen Collection and in the DA, Kunsthaus Kloster Gravenhorst
as part of the exhibition MAGICAL WOMEN

Experience a special afternoon of art that combines two fascinating exhibition venues: We start at the Draiflessen Collection, where you can immerse yourself in the special exhibition MAGICAL WOMEN. This exhibition is dedicated to artistic positions of the 20th and 21st centuries that deal with magic, the occult, and spiritual practices—often from a feminist perspective. Afterwards, discover the diversity of the image of the devil over time and its significance for Christianity in the study hall. The presentation in the DAS Forum takes you back to the beginnings of the company founded by brothers Clemens and August Brenninkmeijer and invites you on an exciting journey through archives and city history.
After a coffee break together, we will continue on to the DA, Kunsthaus Kloster Gravenhorst in Hörstel. There you can enjoy the light art exhibition “Winterlicht – Wonderwalk” by renowned artist Tatjana Busch. Immersive light and sound installations create fascinating resonance spaces of form, color, movement, sound, and light.
To round off the tour, we will enjoy hot punch in the foyer of the monastery.
