OPEN HOUSE
We cordially invite you to our OPEN HOUSE on Sunday, February 15. A diverse program of dance, storytelling, and the opportunity to discover our current exhibitions awaits you throughout the building. On this day, there will be a special focus on our special exhibition MAGICAL WOMEN, which ends one week later.
Dance performance in the exhibition MAGICAL WOMEN
For this special occasion, choreographer and dancer Luana Rossetti was invited to develop a choreographic ritual in the middle of the MAGICAL WOMEN exhibition together with dancer Chiara Fersini. The performance enters into a direct dialogue with the exhibited works as well as with the central motifs and themes of the exhibition and will be accompanied live by TZUNAMI MUSIC.
The dance performance will be performed hourly throughout the afternoon and lasts approximately 20 minutes – starting at 1 p.m. and ending at 4 p.m.
Fairy tale afternoon for young and old
At 3 p.m., storyteller Sabine Meyer from the Osnabrück Storytelling Theater invites you to a fairy-tale reading afternoon. Under the title “Of witchcraft, fairy magic, and some devilry – fairy tales for the brave,” she takes children aged five and up and adults on a journey through stories full of fairy magic, witchcraft, and little adventures. Anyone who wants to can come in costume – after all, it's Carnival.
Admission and the tour are free of charge, but donations to the non-profit organization Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Naturschutz Tecklenburger Land e. V. are welcome.
No registration is required for the events.
Please note: There will be no public tour of MAGICAL WOMEN on this day. However, our guides will be available to answer any questions you may have.
At 1:30 p.m., there will be an opportunity to take part in a public tour of the exhibitions THE DEVIL (study Room) and PUTTING DOWN ROOTS (DAS Forum). As always, the number of participants is limited due to space constraints.
