Seven Top-Class Virtuosos

Draiflessen is looking forward to working with the Summerwinds Festival again: at meetMUSIC, seven award-winning chamber musicians will come together to form a true “supergroup.” The program includes Beethoven’s famous “Septet in E-flat major, Op. 20,” as well as the lesser-known but equally charming “Septet in E-flat major, Op. 62” by Conradin Kreutzer, with its singable melodies coming to life in the soloists’ fresh interpretation. Beethoven’s work combines the richness of a small orchestra with the elegance of a serenade, vital, springy, and surprising in its tempos. It will be an evening that allows you to experience chamber music in all its diversity and brilliance—interpreted by outstanding musicians: Sebastian Manz, clarinet, Franziska Hölscher, violin, Wen Xiao Zheng, viola, Andrei Ioniță, cello, Felix Klieser, horn, Hanno Dönneweg, bassoon, Dominik Wagner, double bass.
