Meet the Artist: Summer Academy with Jan van der Kooi *** fully booked
Jan van der Kooi is considered one of the Netherlands’ greatest living figurative artists. To coincide with the opening of his showcase exhibition at the Draiflessen Collection, he’ll be offering a one-time-only workshop. A small group will have the opportunity to spend fourdays with the artist immersed in the art of seeing and drawing.
Architectural subjects and the natural setting of the Recker Moor will serve as the main motifs. All participants will be supplied with sketchbooks and the necessary drawing materials. On the final day we’ll pay a visit to the artist at his studio in the Netherlands.
