We have decided to keep our house closed until 31 May 2020, but in the last few weeks our team is working hard, to communicate the current and upcoming exhibition programme digitally to our visitors and to stay in contact, dialogue and exchange with them.

For the current special exhibition HOPE, the cabinet exhibition ON THE THIRD DAY ... as well as the presentation PERSONAL FAVORITES: ONKEL CANTERBUMM – HOW AN ADVERTISING CHARACTER MADE IT INTO THE ARCHIVE we have reacted immediately to the current situation and present the exhibits and background information on our homepage and social media. For HOPE we are currently working on a digital accompanying programme. We will gradually inform you about the  online offers for all three exhibitions.
We will extend the duration of the cabinet exhibition and presentation until mid-October. We are confident that a visit will be possible by then.

The presentation FASHION IMAGERY. THE 1920S IN C&A ADVERTISEMENTS will not be shown at the Draiflessen Collection: We took the current situation as a great opportunity to develop an exclusively digital concept. We are very pleased that we are able to push ahead with our endeavours to develop new digital formats and to implement them now. FASHION IMAGERY will ‘open’ as planned on 13 May, i.e. on our homepage and social media.

The cabinet exhibition SEASCAPES, planned to start in June, will presumably open at the beginning of November.

The concert ‘Dieter Ilg Trio: My Beethoven’, planned for June 15, has been postponed to March 6, 2021.

Further information on our revised programme and specific opening hours will also be published successively here at www.draiflessen.com.
