In this tour of the exhibition MADE REALITIES, writer Angela Steidele and curator Olesja Nein talk about how photography and language can create realities. Angela Steidele was born in 1968. She combines scholarly circumspection with literary composition in works such as "In Männerkleidern. Das verwegene Leben der Catharina Margaretha Linck [...]" (2004) and "Geschichte einer Liebe. Adele Schopenhauer and Sibylle Mertens" (2010). For her novel "Rosenstengel. Ein Manuskript aus dem Umfeld Ludwigs II". (2015) she received the Bavarian Book Prize. Her trilogy on biographical writing includes "Anne Lister. Eine erotische Biographie" (2017), "Zeitreisen. Vier Frauen, zwei Jahrhunderte, ein Weg" (2018) and "Poetik der Biographie" (2019).
