FAITH is a concept that is associated with longings, promises of solace, and assurances for the future, but also with fears, disappointments, and doubts.

We’ll take a close look at the works of art on view in the exhibition Faith. Which ones make use of colour, which ones are done in black and white?

Expressing in a picture what you believe in – what you have faith in – can be a challenge. What should, and what shouldn’t, be made clear to the viewer, and which motifs and symbols should you choose?
