Description
This golden imitation leather coat from C&A’s own brand Yessica was showcased at the press fashion show on April 24, 2007. The embossing of the material imitates crocodile leather—both the larger-scaled structures of the back armor and the finer ones of the belly. Slightly fitted at the waist, the coat has the typical features of a trench coat, has a broad lapel and turn-down collar with a collar clasp, a front and back yoke and epaulettes. It features a waist belt, and narrower sleeve straps made of the same material at the wrists. These take up the rectangular form of the belt buckle and collar clasp and emphasize—looped twice around the wrists—the sporty character of the coat’s cut, which contrasts with the reptile leather look and the golden color. In timely fashion prior to the start of the autumn/winter season, the magazine Freundin, on September 26, 2007, recommended this coat as an ideal companion for a special evening or night.
