Description
In 1971, C&A launched ist own brand, Jinglers, and thus responded to the fashion trend in which, starting in the 1960s, jeans played an ever greater role. “The only jeans you can hear coming” was an advertising slogan for Jiglers targeted specifically at children, teenagers, and young adults. The little bell on each pair of jeans became a trademark, while the letters “JJ” adorned buttons and giveaways. Adverts, commercials, posters, showcases, and interior décor convey the youthful zest for living associated with jeans. The Jiglers jeans in the Archieve Collection have been primarily inspired by 1970s and ‘80s advertising; the Draiflessen Collection owns the 1,000,000th copy of the model with ist typical carrot silhouette.
