In April 2012, the Draiflessen Collection received a special donation: the collected professional clothing of a shop assistant at C&A Hasselt from the 1970s to the 1990s.  The outfit shown here can be dated to the 1970s. A striped jersey pinafore dress in the C&A logo colors blue, white, and red whose key feature is the interplay of lines: the upper section, closed by a zipper in the back, shows the pattern as vertical stripes, while the edges are trimmed with horizontal stripes; for the skirt section, which consists of four panels, the material was worked diagonally. The patch pocket at breast height and the inset pocket in the front right skirt panel also feature decorative stripes. The waistline is marked by a dark-blue imitation leather belt with a red buckle. The pinafore dress was paired with a white, classically cut blouse.
