From 2019 to 2020, the Draiflessen Collection is presenting three successive exhibitions on Faith, Love and Hope. Each one of them casts light on various facets of its respective theme from a modern and contemporary perspective.
The second part of the trilogy is dedicated to the concept of love as a form of (special) social relationships and bonds. In this catalogue accompanying the exhibition, love as a defining element of interpersonal relationships is examined from very different perspectives. The essays explore the meanings of love as social reality and cultural myth and at the same time scrutinise traditional modes of behaviour and thought patterns.
