Part 2 of the exhibition trilogy 'Faith, Love, Hope'

Following the first part of the 'Faith, Love, Hope' trilogy—the exhibition 'Faith'—the second part 'Love' takes a look at the concept of love, portraying love as a form of (special) social relationship and commitment. The focus is not on love as ephemeral emotion or passionate feeling, but rather on love as a sign of quality in interpersonal relations.

The exhibition presents a selection of modern and contemporary works of art that offer reflection on the potentialities, limits, and contradictions of human connectedness. Proceeding from their own personal experiences of love as well as their observations of people around them, the artists in this exhibition portray their struggle for harmony, their longing for protection, but also their encounters with feelings of suffocation and pain.
