C&A ZIEHT AN!
11.05.2011 – 08.01.2012
Description
Animals regularly play the role of likeable characters in advertising. C&A, too, recognises their popular appeal and in 1975 introduces the Schnupperhund sniffer dog in its advertisements. The comical canine is designed by the renowned animator Jimmy T. Murakami. With his keen nose, the Schnupperhund sniffs out good prices and top quality across the full range of C&A products. In the course of his career, he appears in TV commercials and as an inflatable promotional figure. At the end of the 1990s, C&A’s marketing strategy is fundamentally overhauled and the era of the Schnupperhund comes to a close.
